This procession of 150 to 200 horseriders pays tribute to the patron of the village: Saint Renelde.
The riders first join a 5 am mass before starting the Grand Tour at 7.30 am along with musicians, also on horses. The 30 km route reaches the neighbouring communes before going back to the church.
Program
Saturday evening: mass in the church during which the relics of Saint Renelde will be placed on the carriage
Sunday morning: the procession follows the 28 km route. Mass at Quenast at 10 am. Return to the church at 4 pm
Monday morning: Small procession around the church.
The event always takes place the weekend following Pencost
