This procession of 150 to 200 horseriders pays tribute to the patron of the village: Saint Renelde.

The riders first join a 5 am mass before starting the Grand Tour at 7.30 am along with musicians, also on horses. The 30 km route reaches the neighbouring communes before going back to the church.

Program

Saturday evening: mass in the church during which the relics of Saint Renelde will be placed on the carriage

Sunday morning: the procession follows the 28 km route. Mass at Quenast at 10 am. Return to the church at 4 pm

Monday morning: Small procession around the church.

The event always takes place the weekend following Pencost

We are doing our best to help all travellers coming to Wallonia. Some sites are, as you can understand, not accessible for the time being. Please contact them or check their website/social media platforms before getting on the road. Be assured we are all trying to get things back to order as soon as possible. Travel advice
