See this Tamarai Laï exhibition at MAC to better understand the emergence of digital arts.

About the exhibition

Tamar Laï was, in the 90ies, one of the first Belgian artists to use the web to develop multimedia and interactive artworks: hypertext poetry and rhizomatic narrative.

Although she first explored painting and photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Liège, Tamara Laï blossomed in her discovery of a favourable context for her artistic development in the digital arts. In this field, her ephemeral, participatory works, especially Net Art, have been included in the official selections of many international festivals around the world.
