Domaine du Chant d'Eole is a Walloon vineyard in Quévy-le-Grand, a charming village in the countryside of Mons.
This amazing estate, created in 2015, was born from the friendship between a family of local farmers and a winegrower from the Champagne region.
The Vineyard
The Domaine du Chant d'Eole takes its name from its proximity to the Quévy wind turbines, which play a positive role in the quality of the grapes produced. Indeed, the movement of air helps to delay frost on the ground. It consists of 84,000 vines of traditional grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc).
The production
Different sparkling wines are produced according to a traditional method; Brut Blanc de Blancs and Brut Rosé. Elixir Saint-Georges is also produced in the production, resulting from the clever blend of grape juice and eau-de-vie made with the wine from the vineyard.
