The best cacao beans make the best chocolate
Very few chocolatiers make their chocolate straight from the cocoa beans: Benoît is one of them. It's all about passion and a quest for perfection.
This master chocolatier goes even further: he has its own cacao farm in Peru and works in partnership with plantation in Central and South America and Africa.
The small farms working with him commit to treat their workers fairly and to protect the environment.
A visit to the chocolate factory starts with learning a little about the plantations. Next are the kitchens where you can see how a cocoa bean is turned into a delicious praline... Follows a tasting of the home-made creations. Duration: 2 hours.
