Discover these popular festivities, part of the great Rhine Carnival tradition.
Very much looked forward is the induction of the Prince and Princess of the carnival, with two ceremonies: one for children, another for the whole crowd. Then starts the cavalcade with its richly decorated floats and colourful costumes. Head for the Town Hall in the afternoon to see it. The day ends with a cheerful ball, held under a marquee on the Place des Combattants.
