The University of Liège has in its collections over 60,000 art pieces displayed at the Wittert Museum.

Art all around

Nestled in one of the oldest wigs of Liège University, the Wittert Museum gathers an exceptional artistical heritage: sketches, African art, drawings, photographs, sculptures, coins, medals...

The museum offers a varied cultural program with temporary exhibitions alternating with the semi-permanent "Marvels and Curiosities" exhibition (which content changes every 3 years).

A social space

The museum also is a place to meet and exchange views, thanks to the University and Town, by valorising and encouraging research, and offering varied animations highlighting different sides of art and museum spaces.

Access is free and everyone is welcome.

We do our best to keep you informed. It's best, however, to check the latest news with the attraction you are visiting, or operator you have booked an activity with. Read our travel advice.
