The Zum Himmelchen cross-country ski and sledge runs, in Weywertz near Bütgenbach, are the perfect place to spend a family day in the Eastern Cantons.

The Zum Himmelchen ski runs, 500 m high, offer a choice of 5 loops (4, 6, 8, 10 and 18 km) starting from the chalet. They offer a variety of difficulty levels - there is something for everyone.

Also on site are 3 sledge runs.

Hikers are authorised on 2 walking trails only. Dogs are allowed if on leash.

Access to the ski runs is free, even if you already have your equipment.

Practical information

Ski, shows and poles can be rented from the chalet, which also serves light meals.
