The race, one of the five "pillars" of the European professional cycling calendar, is part of the Belgian Ardennes classics, which also includes La Flèche Wallonne.

An iconic race

The participants will need much strength and will to take the 256 km  Liège-Bastogne-Liège challenge.

Quite the challenge

  • The second half of the race is the trickiest, with 9 climbs in the last 100 kilometres...
  • The côte de la Redoute, côte des Forges and spectacular côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons complete the race.

The Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge for beginners

The day before the race, over 8,000 cyclist enthousiasts get the change to take the challenge and defy these hills.
There are three distances to choose from: 70, 147 and 256 km.
