This superb itinerary will take you through the fantastic heights of the Condroz region.

The trail starts in Durbuy and goes up steeply very quickly. Keep going, go via Palenge until you reach the peak of the ridge: the view from there is a reward in itself.

On the left, you can see the blue line of the Ardenne and on the right, Chardeneux, one of the prettiest villages in Wallonia, nestled lovingly in a valley and surrounded by fields. It is said to light up the landscape... Take the time to make a detour to see its pretty facades, many renovated, and the many blooms giving it a cheerful atmosphere.

Further on, in the commune of Somme-Leuze, the road slaloms through meadows: the kind of countryside scene you usually only see on postcards. Follow the nodes from one field to another. They will guide you through a forest just before Grandhan. The road back to Durbuy will surround you once more with nature and you will get a chance to see the smallest town in the world on the way.
